Program Intern - Procurement Operations - Nuclear
About this role
Summer 2026 paid internship in Procurement Operations supporting PSEG's nuclear division. Work directly with procurement professionals on supply chain functions, vendor coordination, and purchase order management. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Finance, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management who want hands-on experience in nuclear energy procurement.
Responsibilities
- —Perform supply chain functions and support procurement analysts on day-to-day operations
- —Process, issue, and distribute procurement documents with quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- —Compile supply chain data, contact vendors, and maintain/update purchase order information
- —Execute multiple assignments with minimal guidance while maintaining strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- —Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field from accredited institution
- —Graduating between December 2026 and May 2029 (May/June 2026 graduates eligible only if enrolled in post-graduate program fall 2026)
- —Completed minimum freshman-level coursework
- —Valid driver's license and safe driving record (required for travel to PSEG locations)
- —US citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or qualifying protected status (DOE 10 CFR 810 compliance required)
Desired
- —3.0 GPA or higher
- —Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Applications
- —SAP experience
- —Strong written and oral communication skills
- —Organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Location
Hybrid flexible (5–8 days onsite per month); 40 hours/week during summer internship period; must commute to designated PSEG work location; travel to various PSEG sites required.
