About this role

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. Accountable for the in-field application of policies and procedures relating to applied Health and Safety Programs. Although this individual does not have any direct reports on the organizational chart, this position serves as the authority and provides direction to all personnel on-site related to industrial health and safety matters.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the in-field and administrative application of policies and procedures relating to industrial health and safety programs; provide feedback and direction to all work groups as the resident authority on safety matters.
  • Responsible for the regulatory knowledge of industrial safety programs including asbestos, lead, etc.
  • Authority and implementer for site wide tactical and strategic safety initiatives.
  • Responsible for peer meetings, benchmarking and industry involvement to ensure industry best practices and standards are implemented across the PSEG Fleet.
  • Job Specific Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Industrial and/or nuclear facility experience.
  • Additional OSHA training beyond OSHA 10, technical training related to respiratory protection, fall protection, lead, asbestos, and other regulated programs.
  • Must meet and maintain nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation (https://www.pseg.com/IDrequirement) is required for this position by May 7, 2027.
