About this role
Lead procurement execution for NSSS (Nuclear Steam Supply System) components across Westinghouse's AP1000 domestic and international projects. Coordinate suppliers on schedule, quality, and cost targets while partnering with engineering, supplier quality, and project management teams to ensure predictable delivery of nuclear reactor components.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement execution for assigned NSSS commodities or projects, including fabrication, testing, documentation, and shipment
- Manage supplier delivery performance, schedule adherence, and manufacturing readiness; lead execution schedule reviews and recovery planning
- Coordinate with Supplier Performance Engineering and Supplier Quality on oversight and issue resolution
- Manage procurement risks across suppliers and scope with mitigation and recovery planning; communicate risks affecting project delivery to stakeholders
- Support RFQ development, supplier selection, and post-PO execution including kickoff, submittals, and manufacturing understanding
- Ensure completion of quality documentation, final delivery, and support change management and PO adjustments
