Procurement Engineer 1

Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer supporting nuclear equipment procurement for Westinghouse's AP1000, AP300, and Energy Systems Portfolio. Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and negotiations from bid through manufacturing and delivery. Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality to develop procurement requirements, supplier oversight plans, and manufacturing witness & hold point execution.

Become the supply chain manufacturing engineering expert for assigned nuclear equipment by collaborating with Westinghouse Design, Suppliers, and Internal Manufacturing teams

Support supplier identification, evaluation, down-selection, and negotiations; work with design to create procurement requirements and SAP purchase requisitions

Collaborate with design engineering and quality to develop supplier document submittal requirements and manufacturing witness and hold point (W&HP) requirements

Lead supplier kick-off meetings, conduct scheduled meetings with suppliers and Westinghouse project teams, and manage Westinghouse's document review performance

Work with Supplier Performance Engineering to develop supplier oversight plans and project manage execution of supplier oversight activities and witness and hold points

Identify cost and schedule reductions through supplier management efforts

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related engineering disciplines

Experience or previous project work related to Power Generation, Manufacturing, Project Management, or Supply Chain

US Citizen

Must meet criteria for access to partners' and clients' technologies and comply with import/export controls laws and regulations

Hybrid (two or more days in office per week) based in Cranberry Township, PA
