About this role

Entry-level Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) Engineer performing PRA evaluations for nuclear power plant systems to assess vulnerability to seismic, fire, flooding, and other hazard types. Work with domestic and international operating plants and new reactor designs, reporting to the Senior Manager for Risk Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assess domestic and international operating plants and new reactors in design phase using PRA methodologies
  • Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents including P&IDs and cable routes to understand plant systems and operation
  • Perform database management and data analysis tasks using PRA tools and software
  • Present technical findings and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
  • Partner with global project teams contributing to technical scope, execution, and financial goals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering; minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired

Desire to earn Professional Engineer in Training (EIT) license; 10% travel availability to domestic or international customer sites

Location

Hybrid position based in Cranberry Woods, PA; 10% travel to customer sites
