About this role

Entry-level Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) Engineer supporting nuclear power plant safety evaluations. You will assess domestic and international operating plants and new reactors in design phase, evaluating vulnerability to seismic, fire, flooding, and other hazard types. Role involves PRA modeling, system analysis, and regulatory interface.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems
  • Assess domestic and international operating plants and new reactors in design phase
  • Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents including P&IDs and cable routes to understand plant systems and operation
  • Conduct database management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools
  • Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
  • Partner with global project teams contributing to technical scope, execution, meetings, and financial goals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Desire to earn Professional Engineer in Training (EIT) license.

Location

Hybrid based in Cranberry Township, PA; 10% travel availability to domestic or international customer sites
