About this role
Develop should-cost estimates for complex nuclear reactor structures and equipment (AP1000, AP300, eVinci) using statistical modeling and custom algorithms. Partner with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to drive cost reduction through data-driven supplier negotiations and long-term agreements.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and consolidate cost data from multiple sources for analysis
- Develop libraries of algorithms using statistical and mathematical modeling to predict costs for materials, manufacturing, testing, and quality management
- Build should-cost estimates by leading product teams and suppliers to identify cost-driving parameters
- Support category management and supplier negotiation teams in securing Long-Term Agreements (LTA)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement to identify component and process cost drivers and reduction opportunities
- Research industry trends, benchmarking practices, applicable cost indices, and competitive offerings
- Identify, secure, and manage third-party suppliers for the Should Costing Program

Should costing experience and leadership of should-cost analysis projects; benchmarking, market analysis, and competitive intelligence skills; procurement projects management experience
