Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing
- Experience in Power Generation, Nuclear, or other highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (precision machining, welding, forming, mechanical assembly, NDE, inspection, and testing)
- Experience performing process capability analysis (Cpk) and qualification
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, PFMEAs
- Ability to read drawings and specifications made to ASME standards

Principal Supplier Performance Engineer at Westinghouse supporting fabrication of structural and mechanical components for nuclear applications at supplier facilities. Oversee on-site quality and compliance, manage supplier performance metrics, and coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and quality functions to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site supplier oversight to ensure Westinghouse technical and quality requirements are achieved
- Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans to lead completion of critical document submittals, manufacturing activities, surveillance points, inspections, and tests
- Coordinate activities across Westinghouse functions including Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality Oversight
- Identify and escalate supplier issues, risks, and quality events with prompt resolution coordination
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (Quality issues, Deviation Notices) and implement causal analysis and corrective actions
- Evaluate procurement risk and develop security of supply risk mitigation plans
- Manage internal and external corrective action requests, performing cause analyses and verifying completion of preventative and corrective actions
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite at supplier locations in Ingleside, TX; Alma, MI; or Vancouver, WA. No relocation provided.
