About this role
Lead the Dynamic Simulation Lab within Westinghouse's AI & Innovation team, driving strategy implementation for nuclear simulation workflows and emerging technologies (AI/ML). Collaborate across Westinghouse organizations to optimize simulation capabilities and shape the future of nuclear engineering simulation.
Responsibilities
- Lead specific projects within the Dynamic Simulation Lab and participate in simulation activities
- Engage with partners across Westinghouse organizations to understand modeling, simulation needs, and ongoing activities
- Monitor modeling and simulation activities and developments within the nuclear industry and related sectors
- Initiate and participate in external collaborations to advance simulation technologies
- Introduce and integrate new technologies, including AI/ML, to improve simulation workflows, optimize products, and expand capabilities to new areas
