About this role
Lead thermal-hydraulics analysis methods and tools development for reactor components at Westinghouse. Modernize analysis capabilities, mentor senior engineers, and drive complex technical solutions across multi-functional teams in reactor design and safety analysis.
Responsibilities
- Guide selection and application of thermal-hydraulics analysis tools (CFD, 1-D flow network models) for reactor engineering challenges
- Partner with systems engineering, safety analysis, and technical teams to integrate data, improve workflows, and ensure analytical consistency
- Mentor engineers in thermal-hydraulics fundamentals, analysis best practices, and build organizational technical capability
- Lead resolution of complex engineering problems by identifying risks, developing execution plans, and driving solutions to closure
- Evaluate and adopt AI-enabled engineering tools to improve productivity, quality, and analysis traceability
- Lead multi-functional technical projects
Preferred qualifications
Advanced degrees in Nuclear, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering with significant thermal-hydraulics experience
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid, Cranberry, PA with remote flexibility
