Responsibilities
- —Serve as subject matter expert for instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and automation architecture in nuclear applications
- —Lead engineering design for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
- —Develop advanced control and electrical system strategies for nuclear facilities
- —Perform analysis and design using software packages such as Mathcad, MATLAB, PSpice, or equivalent
- —Develop engineering design documents including calculations and specifications using appropriate standards, techniques, and procedures
- —Ensure compliance with safety, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements in nuclear environments
- —Mentor junior engineers across instrumentation, controls, and electrical disciplines
- —Collaborate with internal engineering groups to coordinate work assignments and obtain necessary technical information
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 10+ years of relevant experience in nuclear instrumentation, controls, and power systems; demonstrated expertise in engineering design and analysis; proficiency with Mathcad, MATLAB, and PSpice
Location
Hybrid work arrangement; primary locations: Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC
