Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and automation architecture in nuclear applications
- Lead engineering design for nuclear products and projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring
- Develop advanced control and electrical system strategies for nuclear facilities
- Perform analysis and design using software packages such as Mathcad, MATLAB, PSpice, or equivalent
- Develop engineering design documents including calculations and specifications using appropriate standards, techniques, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements in nuclear environments
- Mentor junior engineers across instrumentation, controls, and electrical disciplines
- Collaborate with internal engineering groups to coordinate work assignments and obtain necessary technical information
