About this role
Principal Customer Solution Engineer at Westinghouse supporting the Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineering team. Design, develop, and implement complex technical solutions for nuclear power uprates and component replacements. Drive proposal development, analyze customer requirements, and collaborate across sales and engineering to deliver competitive solutions in the nuclear energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Support business development and growth for BOP Engineering, specifically in power uprates and component replacement
- Gather market intelligence to guide product development and suggest innovative ideas before customers need them
- Analyze customer requests and requirements to develop unique and competitive solutions
- Collaborate with Sales Teams and Engineering organizations to develop strategies addressing customer needs
- Coordinate offer development activities with engineering teams to gather labor and M&S estimates
- Facilitate cost estimates, risk analysis, technical descriptions, project schedules, compliance matrices, and cash flow projections with subject matter experts
- Work with Commercial Integration team to support finalization and issuance of offer letters
- Participate in technical meetings with customers and attend industry conferences to build customer relationships
- Develop presentations for customers and internal stakeholders
- Facilitate customer emergent issues and lessons learned reviews
- Track and report on product opportunities, including prioritization and closure
- Support standardization of offer development material and produce engineering estimates and graphics
