Required qualifications
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline. delivering process improvement or continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to analyse and interpret operational, manufacturing and performance data to support decision-making. working with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and continuous improvement reporting tools is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing and process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity and operational performance.
- Analyse production processes, equipment performance and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies to address operational challenges.
- Reduce process variation, defects, rework and waste through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve production throughput, equipment reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process capability.
- Facilitate investigations into safety, quality and production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with teams including Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to deliver operational improvements.
- Develop business cases, project plans and performance metrics to support improvement activities.
- Monitor project progress and track realised benefits including productivity gains, cost savings and quality improvements.
- Coach and support employees in continuous improvement tools, problem-solving techniques and best practices.
