Responsibilities
Perform engineering calculations related to nuclear safety, fluid flow, probability risk assessment, equipment qualification, and heat and mass transfer
Prepare and verify documentation supporting evaluations and analyses; verify routine design evaluations performed by others as qualified
Interface with customers, vendors, and other teams on engineering level to obtain necessary information and solve routine technical problems
Develop independent technical skills, identify and recommend process improvements, and plan/schedule work to meet schedule and budgetary constraints
Preferred qualifications
Dispersion modeling and severe accident modeling/analysis experience
Thermal-hydraulics modeling with RELAP
Facility hazard modeling and analysis
Equipment qualification experience
Laboratory experience with custom experiments

Hybrid, Burr Ridge, IL. Salary range: $58,400–$73,000/year based on experience and qualifications.
