Nuclear Analysis Tech C / Engineering Technicians
About this role
Nuclear Analysis Technician supporting Westinghouse's reactor design and licensing activities. Generate, assemble, and verify nuclear analysis data; perform calculations and technical documentation; support computer modeling and data management for nuclear engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- —Assist engineers in generation, assembly, and verification of nuclear analysis information
- —Analyze and summarize technical data; prepare written and graphic documentation using algebraic and trigonometric calculations
- —Review computer program input using input sheets; verify program functionality
- —Prepare computer input modifications and alterations based on raw data analysis
- —Modify existing non-complex computer programs to support analysis workflows
- —Catalog, maintain, and organize computer input/output files, calculation notes, and associated records
- —Execute data analysis and computer plotting programs using assigned systems
- —Support engineering activities within assigned functional group
Qualifications
Associate's Degree with technical curriculum required. Minimum 2 Math courses and 2 Physics courses, OR 60 college credits in Engineering curriculum with 2 Math and 2 Physics courses. Military nuclear programs (e.g., Naval Nuclear) may substitute for formal education requirements.
Location
On-site, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. No relocation assistance provided.
