About this role
Support nuclear operations safety and efficiency at Westinghouse by assisting nuclear design engineers with technical analysis, data verification, and computer program input validation. Hybrid role reporting to Manager, Nuclear Design in Cranberry, PA.
Responsibilities
- —Assist engineers with generation, assemblage, and verification of nuclear analysis information
- —Identify engineering work requiring specialized manipulative skills coupled with technical training
- —Support analysis, summarization, and preparation of data into written and graphic form using basic algebraic and trigonometric calculations
- —Review computer program input using computer input sheets and specific check programs
- —Prepare computer input alterations and modifications based on raw data analysis
Qualifications
Associate's Degree with technical curriculum preferred. 2 courses in Math and either 2 courses in Physics or 60 college credits in an Engineering Curriculum. Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
Desired
1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment. Background in recognized technical programs such as Naval Nuclear or other military programs.
Location
Hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA. No relocation assistance available.
