NOS Senior Auditor
About this role
Senior Auditor role at Constellation Energy leading regulatory compliance audits across the nuclear power fleet. Conduct comprehensive site audits to assess program adequacy, identify emerging compliance issues and performance trends, provide technical leadership to audit teams, and ensure adherence to NRC regulatory requirements and licensing commitments.
Responsibilities
- —Lead or participate in comprehensive audits of site organizations to assess program adequacy and implementation effectiveness
- —Conduct audit preparation including development of templates, briefings, and final reports
- —Travel to multiple sites to complete audits as part of an audit team
- —Provide written and verbal briefings to line management on audit scope, status, and conclusions
- —Analyze issues identified during audits to determine program quality and identify performance trends
- —Track and follow-up on significant issues identified during audits
- —Provide direction to team members to ensure effective communication of deficiencies
- —Perform observations of site activities when not conducting audits
- —Provide input on audit program improvements including recommendations for scoping, scheduling, and conduct of future audits
- —Support site and comparative audit reports as needed
- —Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support activities as directed
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related nuclear experience, OR Associate's degree with 7 years of related nuclear experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related nuclear experience
- —Obtain Audit Team Lead (ATL) certification within one year of assignment
- —Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
- —Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —Technical Engineering degree (preferred)
- —Previous experience in Nuclear Power Plant Design, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, or Nuclear Oversight
- —Supervisory experience in Nuclear Power Plants
Location
Travel required to multiple nuclear power plant sites; must maintain regulatory access requirements
