Join Westinghouse's Career Catalyst Program as a New Grad Leadership Controls Engineer. Rotate through multiple Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems departments across global locations, gaining hands-on experience in nuclear safety systems, control engineering, hardware/software design, and verification while developing leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver value across multiple departments and global locations through planning, communication, and teamwork
- Identify areas of improvement and use data analysis to propose solutions enhancing departmental efficiency
- Help develop system design for I&C systems based on functional, design, and regulatory requirements
- Support design engineers in hardware and software development of I&C systems
- Develop design documents including functional logic diagrams, system design documents, and calculation notes
- Conduct engineering review of system documentation
- Support customer offer development for I&C system projects
- Develop a foundation of leadership skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience with or knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards, Analog/Digital Circuit Design, FPGA, or CPLDs
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid schedule in Cranberry, PA; flexibility to relocate within Greater Pittsburgh area for rotational assignments
