NDE Tech

NDE Technician supporting nuclear outage work at Westinghouse Waltz Mill (Madison, PA) and other nuclear sites. Provide hands-on containment support for primary side service activities, including steam generator eddy current and plugging operations, equipment setup, component installation/removal, and platform support in high-dose, high-contamination environments.

Set up equipment for SG Primary work: run cables, stage equipment, handle materials

Install and remove primary manways per approved procedures

Install and remove nozzle covers manually or remotely

Install and remove Pegasys or ROSA manipulators into steam generators under Control Station Operator direction

Provide platform support for eddy current operations: load end effectors, change probes, add/remove conduit

Provide platform support for plugging operations: calibrate tools, load plugs and end effectors onto manipulators

Work in high-dose and high-contamination areas with protective clothing and respiratory protection

Ability to travel and obtain/maintain Unescorted Access status

One year of nuclear outage experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Onsite at Westinghouse Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA and other nuclear sites; travel required; work in high-dose and high-contamination containment areas
