NDE Engineer

Westinghouse NDE Engineer role developing and implementing non-destructive examination (NDE) technical procedures for steel structural components in nuclear manufacturing. Responsibilities include procedure development for VT, PT, MT, RT, UT, PAUT, and TOFD inspections; operator support and training; and ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory and customer requirements.

Prepare technical procedures and detailed instructions for performing inspection activities on steel structural components using VT, PT, MT, RT, UT, PAUT, and TOFD techniques according to customer and regulatory requirements

Participate in technical meetings and collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues at manufacturing sites and supplier facilities

Support NDE operators during inspection and examination activities

Conduct indoctrinations and training sessions for NDE operators on prepared instructions and technical procedures

Assess NDE operator personnel skills and provide targeted training to address skill gaps

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum 3 years experience)

Minimum 2 years of related experience in manufacturing industries such as heavy fabrication or machining

English language competency at Intermediate B1 level or higher

Master's degree

5+ years of related experience

Prior experience in pressure vessel industries or NDE inspection

Onsite at Monfalcone, Italy facility
