Mgr Site Regulatory Assurance
About this role
Manage the site regulatory assurance function at a Constellation nuclear facility, overseeing NRC compliance, safety standards adherence, and regulatory interface with corporate licensing. Lead a team responsible for ensuring the site meets all regulatory requirements and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- —Provide overall management of the site regulatory assurance function and regulatory interface with respect to facility needs and NRC requirements
- —Manage performance and development of site regulatory assurance personnel aligned with site and corporate objectives
- —Collaborate with other Site Regulatory Assurance Managers and Corporate Licensing Managers to ensure competent and timely regulatory support
- —Fulfill managerial responsibilities for assigned staff including hiring, development, compensation, and performance evaluation
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed by management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8 years of professional experience, OR current/previously licensed Senior Reactor Operator with 8 years of industry experience, OR Associate's degree in technical field with 10 years of industry experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of industry experience. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access and pass favorable medical examination.
Desired
Master's degree in technical discipline or MBA. Team-driven experience in matrixed environment. Knowledge of reactor systems design and function, Technical Specifications, Updated Final Safety Analysis Reports (UFSAR), and applicable Code of Federal Regulations. Previous SRO license/certification. Previous supervisory experience.
