Responsibilities
- Develop design analyses and evaluations of technical products for nuclear applications under supervision
- Support manufacturing and field service during fabrication, assembly, and installation of nuclear components
- Conduct design reviews and design-for-manufacturability reviews for nuclear systems
- Communicate with internal engineering groups, customers, and vendors to gather requirements and technical information
- Solve routine technical problems related to mechanical design and nuclear systems
- Perform resource forecasting, cost analysis, and schedule tracking for design projects
- Identify and recommend process improvements and support implementation of corrective actions
- Support new business development opportunities in nuclear energy
Location, schedule, and travel
