Responsibilities
- Perform engineering and technical tasks applying general engineering principles in support of reactor operations
- Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes (ASME, etc.), and NRC regulatory requirements
- Participate in development and implementation of processes and techniques in compliance with established policies and procedures
- Recommend improvements to standard processes and procedures
- Support emergency response duties, department coverage, and outage activities as assigned
Preferred qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Understanding of fundamental engineering group functions
