Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials for complex electro-mechanical tooling
- Assemble and test custom equipment through design evolution from prototype to finished product
- Develop test procedures for systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Operate final tooling systems in customer facilities
- Provide technical oversight and mentoring of junior engineering team members
- Perform classical hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to qualify systems and components against applicable codes and standards
- Prepare clear and concise design reports and technical specifications
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid (2 days/week onsite); Burlington, Kitchener, or Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
