Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials for complex electro-mechanical tooling
  • Assemble and test custom equipment through design evolution from prototype to finished product
  • Develop test procedures for systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Operate final tooling systems in customer facilities
  • Provide technical oversight and mentoring of junior engineering team members
  • Perform classical hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to qualify systems and components against applicable codes and standards
  • Prepare clear and concise design reports and technical specifications

Location, schedule, and travel

Hybrid (2 days/week onsite); Burlington, Kitchener, or Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
