Required qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering; 10+ years in engineering/technology-based industries; minimum 5 years in engineering design or manufacturing; 5+ years managing complex technical projects with programmatic, budgetary, and resource responsibilities; strong understanding of engineer-to-order workflows including design release, configuration management, and production readiness
About this role
Lead project management for Westinghouse's Global Instrumentation and Controls (GIC) production facility, managing work breakdown structures, cost estimation, schedules, and resources for engineer-to-order manufacturing serving the nuclear energy sector. This role requires translating complex nuclear instrumentation designs into executable manufacturing plans in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead quoting and project scoping for all new GIC production facility projects
- Define work breakdown structures, manage technical issues, and estimate costs/efforts while developing and maintaining project schedules
- Develop performance tracking tools for schedule adherence, budget tracking, and resource utilization reporting
- Provide executive and customer status reports; serve as technical interface between Production and internal Westinghouse Project teams
- Coordinate with engineering teams to translate engineer-to-order designs into manufacturing plans, accounting for testing infrastructure requirements
- Build processes and systems to support complex production capacity decisions and facilitate global manufacturing expansion
