Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of power generation experience, OR Associate's degree with 10 years of power generation experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of power generation experience
- Demonstrated leadership in a minimum of 3 refueling outages
- Ability to maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
- Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
About this role
Lead turbine generator outage projects at Constellation's nuclear Clean Energy Centers, ensuring safe and efficient execution while standardizing processes across facilities. This role combines project management, technical expertise, and leadership to drive continuous improvement in refueling outage operations at nuclear power plants.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed outage plans, assign personnel, and define work scope for turbine generator projects
- Create scope, schedule, and budget using life cycle cost management systems
- Serve as primary point of contact with CEC management and major vendor service organizations
- Direct project completion and close-out of financial and technical documentation
- Promote fiscal accountability and provide fiscal data to all project participants
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across assigned CECs
- Communicate technical, financial, and work progress status to corporate and CEC management at all levels
- Coach, mentor, and manage performance of direct reports and outage planning staff
- Enforce procedure adherence, Human Performance fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance techniques
- Establish and reinforce professional, error-free work environment standards
