- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, production, or related technical discipline; or equivalent nuclear industry business experience
- Leadership competency and demonstrated management experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and nuclear component fabrication
About this role
Lead the Fabrication Follow Engineering (FFE) group within Reactor Component Engineering at Westinghouse. Manage procurement document workflows, coordinate design and fabrication approvals across engineering and supply chain, provide technical guidance on reactor component manufacturing, and mentor engineering teams to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate approval of procurement documents through Engineering and manage WPRO document workflows (Forward, Bypass, Transfer actions)
- Serve as primary contact between APX Supply Chain, internal engineers, and leadership; maintain communication channels and provide escalation support on technical issues
- Field high-level technical questions on design and fabrication; review suppliers' technical proposals against project requirements and lead supplier deviations/specification exceptions to resolution
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and adjust priorities to maintain progress against shifting program goals
- Mentor team members to promote overall team capability and technical proficiency
- Partner with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to ensure technical compliance, document traceability, and execution throughout PO and manufacturing lifecycle
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid; Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; onsite 2 days per week
