About this role
Lead Constellation's Dry Cask Storage program across multiple clean energy centers. Manage ~$20M in annual DCS expenditures, oversee safe and compliant dry cask loading operations, standardize processes across facilities, and supervise DCS specialists and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- —Manage scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget for dry cask storage (DCS) campaigns
- —Oversee day-to-day operations of DCS facilities, ensuring surveillance, maintenance, and emergent condition response
- —Establish and obtain approval of DCS objectives; develop and integrate work documents into plant schedules
- —Ensure contracted services and materials are available and delivered on schedule
- —Provide status updates to Constellation Nuclear and CEC management on DCS activities
- —Develop, coach, and mentor DCS Specialists and cross-functional personnel
- —Implement standardization of dry cask loading processes and procedures across assigned sites
- —Foster continuous improvement and professional work environment standards across operations
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) or technical discipline (chemistry, construction, computer science, mathematics, physics) plus 8 years industry experience; OR 6 years Dry Cask Storage/Constellation Reactor Services experience
- —OR Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 8 years industry experience or 6 years DCS/CRS experience
- —OR Associate's degree in business or technical discipline plus 10 years industry experience or 8 years DCS/CRS experience
- —OR High school diploma/GED plus 12 years industry experience or 10 years DCS/CRS experience
- —Maintain minimum security access or unescorted access as applicable
- —Favorable medical examination and/or testing per position duties
Desired
- —Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License
- —MBA or financial budget management experience
- —Department of Energy (DOE) interface familiarity
- —Supervisory or managerial experience
