Maintenance Technician
About this role
Westinghouse Field Services seeks a Mechanical Technician to maintain inspection and testing equipment used in nuclear power plants across Spain and international locations. You'll collaborate with systems engineers and non-destructive testing specialists in a multidisciplinary environment under strict nuclear safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- —Maintain and troubleshoot inspection and testing equipment deployed in nuclear power plants
- —Collaborate with systems engineers and non-destructive testing specialists to ensure proper equipment operability and compliance
- —Support nuclear facility operations across Spain and international sites
- —Participate in continuous professional development and technical training programs
Qualifications
- —Higher vocational qualification (Módulo Superior) or Professional Training (Formación Profesional) in mechanics
- —Basic knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and pneumatics
- —Minimum English B2 (MCER)
- —Ability to communicate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Desired
- —Knowledge of 3D design tools such as PTC Creo or similar CAD software
- —Experience with PLM systems, especially PTC Windchill
- —3D printing equipment operation
- —Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) knowledge and certification
- —Nuclear power plant experience
- —Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
Location
Spain and international locations; national and international travel required; remote work options available depending on project nature.
