About this role

Maintenance Planner for Constellation's nuclear power plant responsible for planning and preparing work packages for the Instrumentation & Control (I&C) maintenance department. Ensures safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance operations in compliance with QA manual, company policies, NRC regulations (10 CFR 50.59), ASME Code standards, and applicable technical specifications.

Responsibilities

—Plan and prepare work instructions directing the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, surveillance, and modification implementation
—Select and approve purchase orders or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution
—Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective/preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities
—Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues
—Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages
—Prepare Out of Service (OOS) notices, Radiation Work Permits (RWP), plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact statements, ALARA task outs, and related documentation
—Verify work instructions comply with all applicable procedures including Nuclear Safeguard Protocols, ASME Code, and 10 CFR 50.59 requirements
—Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, quality, and technical rigor
—Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations
—Manage projects involving system planners or contractors on detailed package preparation elements
—Participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback sessions, troubleshooting, EQR2 reviews, Operating Experience searches, and peer reviews
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience, OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience, OR Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
—Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
