Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years relevant procurement/supply chain experience
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing project delivery for major technical design projects
- In-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic experience
- Understanding of nuclear energy product lines and systems
- Ability to build relationships at executive level with internal stakeholders and customers/utilities
- Proven major program leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
About this role
Lead Procurement Engineer for Westinghouse's AP1000 nuclear plant projects in Poland and Europe. Manage all procurement phases from pre-purchase order through final delivery, drive local supplier development, and ensure financial, schedule, and safety milestones are met across multiple delivery streams.
Responsibilities
- Drive localization and regionalization efforts to identify and develop local suppliers in Poland supporting AP1000 projects across Europe
- Forecast program performance, identify risk areas, and develop mitigation strategies to meet safety, quality, and financial goals
- Lead supplier identification, down-selection, technical evaluations, quality audits, and RFQ package creation
- Serve as primary project interface for project management, status reporting, and accountability for component and equipment delivery
- Provide strategic direction and execution plans for AP1000 Supply Chain products and delivery implementation
- Oversee Delivery Stream teams across Westinghouse, supplier, and customer sites; mentor new hires and staff
- Collaborate with design engineering and quality teams on document submittal and witness/hold point requirements
- Work with GSCS partners to develop strategic sourcing strategies and execution plans

Hybrid (2 days/week in office); based in Poland
