Lead Delivery Stream Engineer
About this role
Lead procurement strategy and execution for electrical equipment and instrumentation & control (I&C) components on Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear power plant projects. Oversee all pre-PO and post-PO activities in WBS 9/10, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, quality standards, and alignment with nuclear regulatory requirements across global supply chains.
Responsibilities
- —Lead and oversee all procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Electrical and I&C Equipment in WBS 9/10 tower
- —Develop and execute sourcing strategies considering total cost of ownership, on-time delivery, quality, and nuclear compliance standards
- —Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, engineering teams, SPE, global procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders
- —Develop and implement procurement processes and standard works aligned with nuclear industry best practices
- —Scout market for modern technologies that create value while meeting AP1000 design and regulatory specifications
- —Lead procurement readiness activities and ensure predictive delivery during project execution phases
- —Ensure assigned electrical equipment and I&C components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meet technical, quality, and nuclear standards
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in engineering
- —Minimum 5 years of experience in contract/project administration on large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects
- —Demonstrated leadership skills across cultures, languages, and locations
- —Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership mindset
- —Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term productive supplier relationships
- —Experience managing large, complex cross-functional projects
- —Ability to engage at all organizational levels and cultivate professional relationships
- —Strategic and analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into operational results
Desired
- —Experience with nuclear power plant projects or nuclear supply chain management
- —Familiarity with AP1000 design and procurement requirements
- —Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements (10 CFR 50, NRC compliance)
- —Ability to travel up to 20%
Location
Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA; up to 20% travel required; no relocation assistance provided.
