About this role
Lead procurement strategy and execution for electrical equipment and instrumentation & control (I&C) components on Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear power plant projects. Oversee all pre-PO and post-PO activities in WBS 9/10, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, quality standards, and alignment with nuclear regulatory requirements across global supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for Electrical and I&C Equipment in WBS 9/10 tower
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies considering total cost of ownership, on-time delivery, quality, and nuclear compliance standards
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, engineering teams, SPE, global procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop and implement procurement processes and standard works aligned with nuclear industry best practices
- Scout market for modern technologies that create value while meeting AP1000 design and regulatory specifications
- Lead procurement readiness activities and ensure predictive delivery during project execution phases
- Ensure assigned electrical equipment and I&C components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meet technical, quality, and nuclear standards
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with nuclear power plant projects or nuclear supply chain management
- Familiarity with AP1000 design and procurement requirements
- Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements (10 CFR 50, NRC compliance)
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA; up to 20% travel required; no relocation assistance provided.
