Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or technical area
- 5+ years manufacturing quality experience
- Working knowledge and application of US NRC Regulations including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards: ISO-19443, ASME NQA-1, RCC-C, ISO 9001, ISO 9712, ANSI N45.2, and IEEE Standards
- Experience with NDE techniques and applicable practices such as SNT-TC-1A and RCC
- Engineering knowledge and recognized subject matter expertise in one or more engineering or manufacturing specialties
- Experience in engineering, procurement and operations in the nuclear industry
About this role
Lead a quality assurance team overseeing nuclear fuel product compliance across Westinghouse's global manufacturing sites. You'll manage nonconformance resolution, coordinate multi-site quality initiatives, and ensure products meet NRC regulations and customer licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer nonconformance management and communication across 5 Fuel Department Manufacturing sites
- Lead coordination and management of nonconformance matters for fuel projects impacting multiple Westinghouse sites
- Share best practices and lessons learned between Global Manufacturing sites, including abnormal situation reports and corrective/preventive action management
- Operate as accountable lead implementing customer requirements into product and process documentation concerning product quality
- Guide teams in development and formal problem resolution strategies for complex nuclear fuel products/projects
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with European Standards and national agreement standards
- Experience leading engineering efforts on projects at the discipline level

Remote position; reports to Senior Director Nuclear Fuel Quality
