Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
- 5+ years manufacturing quality experience in nuclear industry
- Working knowledge of US NRC Regulations (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21) and European Standards
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards: ISO-19443, ASME NQA-1, RCC-C, ISO 9001, ISO 9712, ANSI N45.2, and IEEE Standards
- Familiarity with NDE techniques and SNT-TC-1A practices
- Engineering knowledge and subject matter expertise in one or more engineering or manufacturing specialties
About this role
Lead customer quality for Westinghouse nuclear fuel products across 5 global manufacturing sites. Oversee nonconformance management, ensure NRC and international standards compliance, and drive problem resolution for complex fuel projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer nonconformance management and communication between 5 Fuel Department Manufacturing sites to identify quality and technical coordination needs
- Lead coordination and management of nonconformance matters for fuel projects impacting multiple Westinghouse sites
- Share best practices, lessons learned, and corrective/preventive actions between Global Manufacturing sites
- Implement customer requirements into product and process documentation concerning product quality
- Lead teams in development and formal problem resolution strategies for complex nuclear fuel products and projects
