Required qualifications

About this role
Designs, develops, and delivers accredited operator training across classroom and simulator settings at a nuclear power plant. Supports all levels of operations personnel (non-licensed operators, licensed operators, Shift Managers, Shift Technical Advisors) and requires expertise in power plant operations and instructional design.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design training programs for non-licensed operator, licensed operator, Shift Manager, and Shift Technical Advisor training
- Develop and conduct training in classroom and simulator environments for all operator training programs
- Develop and administer examinations for operator training programs
- Pursue and maintain instructor qualifications including general instructor, simulator booth operator, SRO Certification, and simulator floor instructor credentials
- Assist with self-assessments and evaluations of operator training programs
- Manage training program maintenance and CAP management
- Function as a member of the site Emergency Response Organization (ERO)
- Support Operations group day-to-day activities and plant refueling outages
Preferred qualifications
- Technical expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, health physics, or chemistry
