About this role
Support systems engineering processes for Westinghouse nuclear projects, applying configuration management, requirements management, and verification & validation (V&V) principles to instrumentation & control (I&C) systems. Lead technical design activities across multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale nuclear initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain integrated systems engineering processes and tools for I&C systems on assigned nuclear projects
- Support configuration management and requirements management activities for complex instrumentation and control designs
- Assist in verification and validation planning and execution for safety-critical I&C systems
- Prepare reports on design changes, metrics, and configuration control activities
- Provide labor and cost estimates for project scopes
- Facilitate technical discussions between cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Communicate analyses, results, and implementation plans effectively in written and verbal formats
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships by addressing concerns and delivering solutions
Preferred qualifications
Electrical Engineering degree; familiarity with complex I&C systems and nuclear instrumentation; understanding of configuration management, requirements management, and V&V concepts; knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
