Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 0 -3 years of engineering experience.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
- Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry.
- Working knowledge of lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator).
- Understanding of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems is preferred but not required.
- Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts is helpful.

Responsibilities
- Support engineering team for the creation of drawings and design/technical specifications for Nuclear Instrumentation Systems.
- Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement/manufacturing.
- Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence.
- Support supplier and manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
- Support development of system and hardware design specifications for Instrumentation and Control systems for both new and existing plants.
- Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and PCB layout/schematics.
- Support Test document creation and test execution.
- Develop test procedures from System Design and Software Requirement documents.
- Support root cause investigation of defects and coordinate defect tracking efforts.
- Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues.
