Required qualifications
- 5+ years operating and maintaining bolt replacement equipment or similar complex field service equipment
- Minimum 5 completed jobs worldwide as Tool Operator during baffle or clevis bolt replacement work
- Basic computer knowledge (software installation, networking)
- Strong mechanical and/or electrotechnical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, procedures)
- English language proficiency minimum A2; B1 or higher preferred
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently and follow procedures rigorously in nuclear environments
- Willingness to travel internationally and work in outage environments

This hands-on role involves operating specialist field service equipment during outages, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, and providing remote-controlled guidance for platform work in active nuclear environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate bolt replacement equipment and specialist field service equipment on-site at nuclear power plants globally
- Troubleshoot and maintain baffle and clevis bolt replacement systems
- Guide platform work via headset communication and operate tools during bolt removal and installation procedures
- Commission and test new equipment components; support Product and Development Engineers during validation and parameter development
- Train new team members and subcontractors on bolt replacement equipment operation
- Manufacture or modify electrical and mechanical components per technical drawings; assemble equipment and tooling
- Collaborate cross-departmentally and internationally with teams across multiple countries
Preferred qualifications
Local language proficiency (German, Spanish, or Dutch) at C1/C2 level or native proficiency preferred
Location, schedule, and travel
Based in Mannheim, Germany; international travel required for on-site nuclear plant outage work; on-site operation in active nuclear environments
