About this role
Lead fabrication follow engineering for APX NSSS (Nuclear Steam Supply System) Components at Westinghouse's Cranberry, PA facility. Serve as primary technical interface between Supply Chain and Engineering, managing document workflows, supplier coordination, and cross-functional teams to ensure nuclear component manufacturing meets schedule and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate review and approval of engineering documents and drawings through Engineering change control processes
- Serve as primary technical interface across internal engineers, supply chain, and management to maintain clear communication
- Field high-level technical questions on design and fabrication topics, providing timely and accurate guidance
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional workstreams, adjusting priorities to maintain progress against shifting program objectives
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to elevate overall team capability and technical proficiency
- Provide escalation support to APX engineering and leadership to ensure timely resolution of technical issues impacting FFE activities
- Review supplier technical proposals against project requirements and manage supplier deviations and specification exceptions to resolution
- Manage WPRO document workflows (Forward, Bypass, Transfer actions) while reinforcing document control discipline
- Partner with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to ensure technical compliance, document traceability, and seamless execution throughout the purchase order and manufacturing lifecycle
