About this role
Senior regulatory and technical expert supporting nuclear plant and fleet regulatory activities at Constellation, the nation's largest clean energy producer. Own regulatory analyses, licensing decisions, and technical consultation to identify and resolve complex regulatory issues affecting reactor operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses, activities, and programs with in-depth regulatory/technical expertise
- Identify and resolve regulatory issues through technical consultation and independent problem-solving
- Manage regulatory issues through completion, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses supporting regulatory and technical projects
- Ensure proper licensing basis management and adherence to NRC design criteria, practices, procedures, regulations, and codes
- Recommend new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, reduce regulatory burden, and correct non-compliances
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed
Preferred qualifications
Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or equivalent NRC certification; advanced technical degree (M.S./M.E.) or related professional certification
