Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Constellation supporting nuclear plant operations. You will provide advanced technical expertise in developing and implementing engineering analyses, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with nuclear industry codes and regulations including ANSI/ANS standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation
- Manage engineering issues from initiation to completion
- Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and ensuring proper configuration management
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
- Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as needed
Preferred qualifications
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Advanced degree (Master's preferred)
- Power plant or industrial plant experience
