Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Constellation supporting nuclear plant operations. You will provide advanced technical expertise in developing and implementing engineering analyses, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with nuclear industry codes and regulations including ANSI/ANS standards.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
—Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation
—Manage engineering issues from initiation to completion
—Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and ensuring proper configuration management
—Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
—Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as needed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
—5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
—Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements for nuclear power plant personnel
—Maintain required security access and pass favorable medical examination/testing
