Engineer supporting nuclear plant snubber program at Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean energy. Snubbers are critical shock suppressors and restraint devices used throughout nuclear reactors. This role involves engineering analysis, design, testing, and maintenance of snubber systems to ensure compliance with safety analyses, industry codes (ASME, NRC), and regulatory requirements. Available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer levels.

Responsibilities

—Assure all snubber engineering products (analyses, specifications, drawings, test procedures) comply with applicable safety analyses, ASME codes, and NRC regulatory requirements
—Perform engineering calculations, design reviews, and technical evaluations of snubber performance and qualification
—Support snubber maintenance, testing, and outage activities; coordinate with operations and maintenance teams
—Perform other job assignments including emergency response, departmental coverage, and call-out support as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
