Engineer, Mechanical

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)

Ability to maintain unescorted access and pass favorable medical examination/testing per position duties

Perform advanced technical and engineering problem-solving in direct support of nuclear plant operations. Roles available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer levels ($87,000–$154,000). Responsibilities include engineering analysis, system troubleshooting, compliance with NRC and industry codes, and support for operational events and outages.

Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs in support of plant operations

Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and consultation

Perform complete task management of engineering issues with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, procedures, and applicable codes

Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects and programs

Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or achieve code/regulatory compliance

Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level)

5+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Senior)

Industrial or power plant experience

Experience and interest in fire protection, fire suppression, and fire detection systems
