About this role

Lead engineering management at Constellation's nuclear power facility, overseeing engineering personnel and systems to meet station operational needs, NRC regulatory requirements, and emergency response protocols. Direct reports will support core station functions including maintenance engineering, technical systems, and operational support.

Responsibilities

—Manage the engineering department function with respect to station operational needs and NRC regulatory requirements
—Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives
—Provide engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
—Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance reviews for assigned staff
—Serve as senior resource for company-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized engineering systems and processes
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science; OR Professional Engineer License; OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5+ years of engineering or related experience including 1+ year of nuclear power plant experience. Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for Nuclear Power Plant Personnel requirements. Must maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and pass favorable medical examination/testing as applicable.
