About this role
Support AP1000 fleet design standardization and execution at Westinghouse. Manage design processes, plans, and cross-functional technical problem-solving for advanced nuclear plants, including Nuclear Island and Turbine Island design strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support definition, maintenance, and oversight of key design processes and plans for the AP1000 plant design
- Manage Design Plan Requirements, Design Release Plan, and Baseline Plan
- Support definition of design and delivery strategies for Nuclear Island (NI) and Turbine Island (TI), including standardization approaches
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, analysis, projects, supply chain) to solve technical problems and implement nuclear plant design
- Identify and define technical issues, risks, and challenges; direct efforts to successful resolution
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in AP1000 plant engineering or licensing
- Experience with other nuclear power plants engineering and licensing
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite at Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC
