About this role

Mechanical Engineer I at Westinghouse supporting fatigue and aging management analysis in nuclear power plants. Responsibilities

—Perform ASME Section III and ASME Section XI analyses with engineering team
—Support design efforts including ASME design specifications, design reports, and design/assembly drawings
—Manage supplier relationships through manufacture and assembly of nuclear components
—Communicate with technical disciplines across design, qualification, fabrication, and installation of nuclear components
—Present technical and project findings to peers

Qualifications

—Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
—Minimum 3.0 GPA
—Technical writing skills for calculation notes and topical reports
—Ability to understand and communicate on technical reports and issues
—1+ years experience with Ansys Workbench/APDL, MATLAB, or Mathcad

Desired

—Working toward Professional Engineer (PE) license

Location

Hybrid (2 days/week onsite), Cranberry, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area)
