Senior Engineer role at Constellation supporting nuclear and clean energy facility operations. Provides advanced technical problem-solving, engineering analysis, equipment/system troubleshooting, and ensures compliance with NRC regulations and industry codes. Reports to supervision on engineering projects, outage activities, and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs with in-depth technical expertise
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical involvement and consultation
- Perform complete task management of engineering issues, including independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and proper configuration management per design criteria, practices, and applicable codes
- Recommend new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify operations, reduce costs, or comply with regulatory changes
- Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed
Preferred qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Design Engineering Qualifications (DG01, DG03). Qualified Nuclear Engineer (QNE) or SRO certification.
