Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and implement digital relay design engineering analysis and programs

Provide subject matter expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems related to protective relaying

Perform engineering design tasks applying protective relay principles, configuration management, and regulatory compliance

Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses of relay systems and technical projects

Recommend equipment upgrades, new relay concepts, and design improvements to enhance performance and regulatory compliance

Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities

Preferred qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) Registration

Experience in protective relaying design

Knowledge of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relay products and applications
