Electrical Planner
About this role
Electrical Planner at Callaway Energy Center, a 1,100+ MW pressurized water reactor facility in mid-Missouri. Develop and coordinate preventive, corrective, surveillance, and operating work packages for daily operations and refueling outages, ensuring quality execution, regulatory compliance, and adherence to station procedures.
Responsibilities
- —Develop and plan preventive, corrective, surveillance, and operating work documents for daily and refueling outage activities
- —Ensure high-quality work packages for craft, operations, contractor, and vendor execution
- —Assist Maintenance Discipline Coordinators and Work Week Managers in bundling and scheduling work activities
- —Communicate effectively across all departments in the work management process
- —Ensure work performed complies with applicable station procedures, policies, and nuclear regulatory requirements
- —Verify documentation of completed work activities is complete, accurate, and maintains regulatory records
- —Participate in Plant Corrective Action Program and Human Performance Program
- —Assume Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties per Radiological Emergency Response Plan
- —Perform special studies and projects as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum three years of experience as a journeyman in electrical discipline; minimum cumulative passing score of 70 on interview-based assessment; strong decision-making, leadership, communication, and human relations skills; security screening required for facility access.
Desired
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Science from an accredited college or university.
Location
AM/PM rotating shifts in office/plant environment at Callaway Energy Center (mid-Missouri). Callouts and outage schedule work required. Exposed to power plant hazards including high voltage and high-pressure steam.
