About this role
Electrical Engineer II at Westinghouse providing engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and operating reactor projects. Design electrical systems, instrumentation and controls, and system wiring for nuclear power plants in collaboration with internal teams and client personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear electrical systems, instrumentation and controls, and system wiring designs
- Develop engineering design documents including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications to support operating plants
- Develop procurement specifications for electrical commodities and review vendor proposals
- Collaborate with internal engineering departments to obtain necessary information for work assignments
- Work with client and site personnel to resolve project-critical issues
- Use software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, and Maximo for design and analysis
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based at Westinghouse global headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA (on-site 2 days per week)
